Nautilus International has offices in London, Wallasey, Rotterdam, Basel, and Antibes and operates in an international field of activity. In the Netherlands, Nautilus is affiliated to FNV and is based in Rotterdam, where we employ around 25 people.

What are you going to do?

As head of operations, you are responsible for the daily management and direction of the business operations in the field of finance / salary and member administration and personnel matters, facility affairs / IT and secretarial support, so that the executive board members can optimally focus on leading the primary trade union work. You are our head of operations who knows how to motivate, inspire and facilitate colleagues and who has an eye for quality and quantity. You are a member of the NL management team. You identify external developments and internal needs and formulate concrete development and innovation plans. You draw up the annual budget and the work plans with the various operations departments. You are a creative thinker and hands-on, flexible, independent, solution-oriented.

Profile

You have at least an NL HBO working and thinking level, preferably in the financial field

You have knowledge of and insight into the administrative structure of an organization.

You have knowledge of administrative procedures and relevant legislation

Knowledge of applied software applications

Some knowledge of project management

Important competencies are leadership, diligence, planning and organizing, quality orientation, integrity, persuasiveness, stress resilience, flexibility and you have a service attitude, tact and sensitivity, including in our cross-cultural international context.

Finally, you have excellent written skills and command of the Dutch and English language, preferably supplemented with German.

We offer
It concerns a full-time employment for an indefinite period with a probationary period of 2 months. The position is classified in scale 14 of the cao (cba for the) FNV-organisaties (min. € 4.410,- max.

€ 6.306,-) based on a 35-hour working week.
