The European Community Shipowners' Associations (ECSA) and the European Transport Workers' Federation (ETF) have put a call out for maritime professionals to take part in diversity focus groups.
The focus groups form part of the data collection of a joint ECSA-ETF project into improving diversity within the maritime sector and increasing the participation of women in the industry.
The first focus group is specifically for ECSA and ETF members and will raise the topic of best practices in gender equality and diversity and how this can be put into actionable outputs.
The focus group will be taking place on Monday 19 July 2021 at 09.00 UK time (10.00 CET) lasting for one hour. Anyone interested should email kate@field-research.co.uk. The organisations welcome participants from across the industry including shipowners, crew managers, seafarers and other areas of the industry.
