French yachting association launches protest campaign against mooring regulations
18 May 2021
SOS Navigation, a French yachting association, is beginning a sustained campaign against new mooring regulations.
The organisation held initial protests at the beginning of May. Due to the lack of a response from authorities, the organisation released an announcement today asking all boat crews, regardless of their size, based in all ports across the Mediterranean to activate their fog horns every day at 2pm from Wednesday 19 May 2021 for three minutes, until a response is received.
They will also be launching a poster campaign this week in the cities where the new regulations have been implemented.
