Shipyard visit for RFA as multi role ocean surveillance ship undergoes refit

Nautilus International national organiser Steve Doran met members at Cammell Lairds shipyard in April both shoreside and onboard Proteus, the multi role ocean surveillance ship (MROSS), which is currently undergoing a refit before joining the fleet.

'It was great to engage with the members, whose contributions were well received and helpful, covering numerous issues such as pay and conditions and forthcoming new build vessels due to join the RFA fleet in the near future,' Mr Doran said.

Nautilus is currently seeking members views on 2023 pay aspirations ahead of submitting a formal claim to the company.
