'Automation in shipping' symposium

UK branch conference automation logo
With Rolls Royce and Svitzer having recently staged a historic first successful demonstration of a remotely operated commercial vessel, Nautilus is hosting a special symposium on 3 October in Hull, to discuss the many important issues surrounding autonomous shipping.

A special panel of industry experts will be on hand during the seminar to discuss technological developments and the impact of these on seafarers. The event is open to invitees from across the maritime sector, and to members attending the branch conference earlier in the day.

The symposium will begin in the afternoon after the Union's UK branch conference at the Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel in Willerby, just five miles from Hull. To register, click the 'register online' link under the symposum schedule. After entering your personal contact details online, you will then be able to select the relevant event.
