Members working at Pacific Nuclear Transport Ltd (PNTL) have voted by a strong majority to accept a two-year pay deal.
They will immediately receive an increase of 5.5% on basic pay, backdated to 1 April 2023, plus a one-off, non-consolidated and non-pensionable payment of £1,500 for each officer/rating.
For 2024/25 Nautilus has negotiated a 5% increase on basic pay, to apply from 1 April 2024.
In addition, ratings grades 0-3 will be removed and all in-scope ratings will be moved to grade 4 (also taking effect 01 April 2024). Grade 16 will be added across all rating and officer grades.
Nautilus strategic organiser Jennifer McKechnie said: 'I would like to thank members for their patience and continued engagement through what have been very protracted pay talks; and the Partnership At Work committee for their professionalism and support throughout the process. We will now be looking to enter into discussions with PNTL regarding improvements to pension provision and a review of the existing terms and conditions.'
